The 3M 956010 2K Adhesive Series includes high-performance two-component structural adhesives designed for professional industrial bonding applications. This range includes DP110, DP490, and DP8005 variants, each engineered for specific processing times, strength requirements, and material compatibility.

These adhesives are widely used in industrial assembly, metal bonding, plastics bonding, composite manufacturing, and structural applications.

DP110 – Fast Processing Epoxy Adhesive

• Short processing time: 8–10 minutes

• First load possible shortly after bonding

• Tough elastic performance

• High shear strength: 18 MPa

• Peel strength: 35 N/cm

• Good impact resistance and aging properties

• Low flow behavior

• Hand-tight after approx. 20 minutes

• Operating temperature: -55 °C to +80 °C

• Suitable for bonding metals, ABS, GRP, PC and similar materials

• Suitable mixing nozzle: 9560150021

DP110 is ideal for applications requiring fast curing and reliable structural strength.

DP490 – Long Open Time Structural Epoxy

• Very long processing time: over 90 minutes

• Thixotropic – does not flow on vertical surfaces

• Tough elastic structure

• High shear strength: 30 MPa

• Peel strength: 92 N/cm

• Excellent impact resistance

• Hand-tight after approx. 4 hours

• Operating temperature: -55 °C to +120 °C

• High temperature resistance up to 120 °C

• Suitable for aluminum, steel, brass, ABS, PA, PC, PVC and fiber composites

• Suitable mixing nozzle: 9560150021

DP490 is suitable for large assemblies requiring long positioning time and high structural strength.

DP8005 – Acrylic Adhesive for Low-Energy Plastics

• Very short processing time: 2–3 minutes

• Rapid strength build-up

• Bonds low-energy plastics without surface pre-treatment

• First load possible very quickly

• Tough-elastic structure

• Shear strength: 6 MPa

• Peel strength: 28 N/cm

• Low flow behavior

• Hand-tight after approx. 30 minutes

• Operating temperature: -55 °C to +80 °C

• Suitable for PE, PP, TPE, ABS, PVC, PMMA, composites, metals, glass and wood

• Suitable mixing nozzle: 9560150022

DP8005 is especially suitable for bonding difficult plastics such as PE and PP.
