LOCTITE 518 (LOCTITE 5188) is a highly elastic anaerobic flange sealant designed for sealing close-fitting metal surfaces. The product cures in the absence of air when confined between metal flanges, creating a durable and flexible seal.

It is especially suitable for torsion-resistant metal flanges and applications where slight oily contamination may be present on flange surfaces. The sealant is particularly effective on aluminum components requiring strong adhesion.
