Safety guard doors connected to electro-pneumatic disconnect switches

SM48 duty cycle:

The boxes arrive at the machine's work table with the flaps closed. They touch the switch on the upper tape head frame, which moves upwards until it reaches the height of the box. The drive belts close and transport the box through the sealing machine.

SM481 duty cycle:

The boxes arrive at the machine's work table with the flaps closed. They touch the switch that activates the   upper head, raising the   frame to the height of the box lid. The drive belts close and transport the box through the sealing machine.
